Frog Hats

These frog hats are affordable, foolproof and fast. They were the hit of my son’s recent Frog Party. They can be your favors, or your place settings if you write names on them, or even a craft for the kids to do at the party (if you do that, use tape so you don’t have to wait for glue to dry). Here are the instructions: Get some foam sheets at Michaels ($.29 each). Cut them into strips about 2 1/2 inches wide. I drew a line to follow and my 4-year-old cut them out. Punch a hole in the ends about an inch in from the edge. Push a pipe cleaner through each hole (you may have to trim them down – I cut mine in half) and fold the end back to create a hook. Press it down to secure it. Now you’ve got an adjustable headband.   Draw out some circles (or just free hand them) about 1 3/4 inches in diameter. That’s just a guideline measurement...
